Accessibility

Our Commitment

McNellie's Group is committed to making our websites and physical restaurant locations accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every guest to have a great experience with us, whether they are visiting us online or in person.

We are actively working to improve accessibility across all of our websites and strive to meet recognized standards for digital accessibility.

Web Accessibility

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

Our ongoing efforts include:

  • Using descriptive alt text for meaningful images across our sites
  • Structuring pages with a clear heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation
  • Ensuring adequate color contrast between text and background elements
  • Making interactive elements keyboard accessible
  • Testing our sites with assistive technologies on an ongoing basis

We recognize that some pages or content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are committed to identifying and addressing those gaps as we continue to improve our sites.

Physical Locations

McNellie's Group restaurants are committed to welcoming all guests at our physical locations. We comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for places of public accommodation and are committed to making reasonable accommodations for guests with disabilities.

If you have a specific accessibility need related to an upcoming visit to any of our restaurants, please contact that location in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you comfortably.

Applicable Standards and Laws

Our accessibility work is guided by the following:

United States

  • Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Title III
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
  • Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act, prohibiting disability-based discrimination in places of public accommodation

International

  • European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) for visitors from European Union member states
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which serve as the international benchmark for digital accessibility

Assistive Technology

Our websites are designed to work with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification tools, and voice recognition software.

If you have difficulty using any of our websites with your assistive technology, please let us know so we can help.

Known Limitations

We want to be straightforward about areas where we are still improving.

Some third-party tools embedded in our websites, including our reservation system powered by OpenTable and our menu system powered by Toast, are managed by external providers. We encourage those providers to meet accessibility standards, but we do not control their platforms. If you need help accessing reservation or menu information, please contact the restaurant directly and a team member will assist you.

Feedback

We genuinely want to hear from you if something on our websites or in our restaurants is creating a barrier. Feedback helps us improve. We aim to respond to all accessibility-related inquiries within two business days.
